Robert A. Smith

Mr. Smith is the Managing Senior Attorney of Smith & Wade. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Business in 1966 and received his Juris Doctor (JD) from the Indiana University School of Law in 1969. Mr. Smith's practice includes general insurance defense litigation and business litigation.

Mr. Smith is admitted to practice law in Indiana and Virginia, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Us Court of Appeals 7th Circuit.

Mr. Smith had been lead counsel in more than seventy-five jury trials. He has acted as counsel and advisor to numerous national insurance corporations.

Mr. Smith is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators (NSPII). He serves as a member of the Litigation Section Executive Committee and the Proactive Diversity Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Mr. Smith is a resident of Westfield, IN who enjoys golf, college sports and family activities in his leisure time.
