Stephen A. Semotuk

Stephen A. Semotuk is an associate attorney with the Carmel, Indiana law firm of Smith & Wade. His main areas of practice include insurance defense litigation, coverage litigation, construction litigation, corporate law, labor law, employment law, civil rights, real estate law, trusts and estate planning, estate administration and general civil litigation.

Mr. Semotuk is admitted to practice in all Indiana state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. His broad legal practice has given him experience handing litigation in state as well as federal courts.

Mr. Semotuk graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse in 1996 with a B.S. in Finance, with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance. While at UW La Crosse, he received the Hoeschler Award for academic excellence, was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, graduating cum laude. In 1999, Mr. Semotuk graduated from the Valparaiso University School of Law where he was on the Valparaiso University Law Review and was an honors graduate.

Prior to joining Smith & Wade, Mr. Semotuk worked for the Anderson Group Consulting, LLC and LexisNexis Corporation. He is currently a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis State Bar Association, the Hamilton Country Bar Association, the Attorney's Title Guaranty Fund, Inc, and he sits of the board of directors of Great Northern Associates, Inc.
